Kutztown University Health Ambassadors (KUHA) KUHA It provided an opportunity for the student groups to blend resources in hosting wellness and awareness programs and informational tables on campus.

In the fall of 2008 the KU Health Ambassadors (KUHA) were formed by peer-to-peer educators from KU Students Working Against To***co and KU Students Against Destructive Decision. KUHA works closely with KU Health Promotion Services is raising awareness on current issues on wellness and community health. KUHA has been awarded with $6,000 of mini-grant money since 2008 that have provided financial re

sources to events and programs at KU to raise awareness on DUI's and Risky Drinking Behaviors. KUHA informational tables include: Cold and Flu Tables, Ho**ah!, Smoking Cessation, Safe Party Tips, What do you like to do SOBER?, Sober Driving Pledges, What's you favorite drink?, Breast Cancer Awareness, Condom Awareness, S*xy Safe S*x and much more. Events sponsored and collaborations include: Annual Health and Wellness Expo, Annual Great American Smoke out, Teen Prevention Workshops, S.P.A. (Stress Prevention Awareness) Day, Spring Tips, Bearfest Surveys, St. Patty's Day on the Hill, and National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week. Benefits of becoming a KU Health Ambassador:
