Omg this team thought of everything, truly can’t say enough about all the little things they thought of you didn’t know you would appreciate! We were roadtripping to FL and as hosts ourselves we had to bring our pups. Truly many times we all know this can sometimes limit the nicer options (though always worth it) but not here -every little detail was a perfect touch, we we’re welcomed by a beautifully decorated place, Freshwater for the pups as well as a few treats and doggy bags and for the adults, there were a few sweet treats in the fridge along with water for us as well. They were also incredible with communication. We wanted to be able to walk somewhere to find dinner which was super easy (try Lagunas!!) and recommended by the host, and came home to enjoy a cookie before heading into the comfy bed.. if we’re ever making a run to Florida again from Texas we will definitely stop here. I love that they’ve even partnered with local vendors for soap and discounts on dining out, etc. not to mention whoever does their cleaning is incredible too, we loved the little sign and everything-great job team. #

Well our weekend move-a-palooza hit a snag when our trusty AC went kaput at the lake house! Thankful for Elizabeth Love with her portable cooling powers who came to the rescue.

Now at least we're chillin' in the bedroom while the rest of the house bakes.

It's that time of year again when we find out if we maintained our Superhost status, and whoop whoop, there it is!! Nothing makes me prouder than to know the connections we were able to make, and the memories our guests get to make when visiting, knocked it out of the park again!!

Never underestimate how much that extra little effort means to people!!
We ran up to the lake so we could put up a tree and leave some holiday decorations out for our next guests, and admittedly I was feeling tired from cramming too much into my day, and knowing I am due at airport tomorrow. Couldn’t help but tear up and smile a bit after reading this note from one of our last guests, as it reinforced my why for doing just this!

When people truly appreciate what you do, it warms our hearts to know that every effort is so worth it, no matter how big or small.

This holiday season, we are reminded of how lucky we are to have such a wonderful place to share, and amazing guests who truly love and appreciate sharing it with us!!

Aww this review means so much!! Truly proves that the best way to ensure your guests are happy is to follow the golden rule; “Treat others as you want to be treated”

I honestly wasn’t sure how this review was going to be as these fab ladies walked into a house that was almost 80 degrees, as the last group left temps high. It took at least two plus hours to drop to a more comfortable level! We stayed in constant communication, set up a service call for next am, and did everything we could to make sure their time wasn’t negatively impacted.

By being thoughtful, present, and understanding people will respond in kind!
