In the seaside city of Huntington Beach, California in 1976 Andy Wehr began his life long passion for working with wood, creating and designing quality pieces by hand. Since his first project (a hand made wooden train he built with his Uncle) was constructed, Andy continued to hone his skills as a craftsman and developed his unique original style that blends modern and classic elements largely ins
pired by the Coastal California lifestyle he grew up living. As one passion often feeds another, Andy's surfing, travels, mountain biking and general love for the outdoors cultivated his appreciation for working with natural materials and serve as inspiration for the style and functional harmony of his designs. Using the highest quality materials (reclaimed, exotic and domestic wood) and blending a love for modern, contemporary and classic design with time honored wood working techniques Andy's work serves multiple purposes as highly functional timeless works of art. In the spirit of quality over quantity The Wehr Company works one on one with clients to create and design pieces that are unique unto the individuals taste and personal style, as well as the surrounding natural environment.
