We took our first family vacation to Lake Norman in 2020 and we love it so much that we have been back each year since. Lake Norman is located 20 miles north of Charlotte North Carolina and is the largest lake in the state with more than 50 square miles of lake surface. It has a subtropical climate with July being the warmest month boasting a daily average of 90 degrees. Whether you love boating, water skiing/wake boarding, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing (and professional tournaments), golfing, mountain biking, hiking, shopping or NASCAR, Lake Norman has it all!!!
