On the stage this week at the Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts is a local group they are being sponsored by Benny and Nelda Speaks. Here is a little bit of information on this band Burnin Daylight
Burnin Daylight Band is a local band playing Positive Country, Rock, Contemporary and Gospel music. The band covers artists like, Martina McBride, The Eagles, Lady Antebellum, Maddie & Tae, Carrie Underwood, The Judd’s, The Isaac’s, Darius Rucker, Patsy Cline and many more….
Lee Anne Jackson, Cate Jackson, and Susi Vangilder take turns singing lead and harmonizing. Curt Dixon plays lead guitar as well as sings lead on several tunes. Mark Kapshandy plays rhythm guitar, Tony Chastain plays bass, and Brad Dilbeck keeps us all in time on Drums.

Susi Vangilder
Susi sings lead & harmony and grew up singing in church with family. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Music in 2002. Susi has been in choirs and directed many choral groups and traveling groups. She started playing piano for church about 8 years ago. Susi has taught voice and piano for 10+ years. Susi works for Cotter Schools where she teaches Elementary Music and is the Choral director for Junior and Senior High. She is also active in her church and the music program there. Susi says, “I’m excited to see how "Burnin Daylight" can stretch me out of my comfort zone a bit and strengthen me in my talents even more!”
Lee Anne Jackson
Lee Anne Jackson sings lead and harmony vocals for Burnin Daylight. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in music performance from Belmont University in Nashville Tennessee. She is an active member of the Twin Lakes Playhouse and has helped direct music for several productions. She also played the lead (Patsy Cline) in the production, “Always Patsy Cline.” Lee Anne currently teaches at Mountain Home Public Schools. Lee Anne enjoys spending time with her family and is looking forward to singing with the band!
Cate Jackson
Cate Jackson is the 17-year-old daughter of Craig and Lee Anne Jackson. She is a Junior at Mountain Home High School. She has been singing with her momma since she was 2 years old! She loves to play basketball and volleyball and is excited to be the youngest member in the band!
Mark Kapshandy
Mark plays Rhythm Guitar and sings harmony. He started playing acoustic guitar when he was 15 years old and has been playing Guitar in church for over 25 years in Mountain Home. He enjoys many different types of music and everything about performing.
Tony Chastain
Tony plays Bass Guitar and is a main staple in the Mountain Home music scene. Tony started playing music in church with family (Chastain Family, Ozark Quartet) and has played with numerus groups including the “100 Proof Band” and “Crossfire”.
Curt Dixon
Curt plays Lead Guitar, sings lead, and does the MC work for the group. Curt has played lead with groups from Texas to Mountain Home. Curt has 23 years’ experience and has played in 17 different bands including bands with his dad and Brother.
Brad Dilbeck
Brad plays Drums and was raised in the Twin Lakes area. He came on the music scene in the mid-1980’s. In 1976, after seeing Black Oak Arkansas with then drummer, Tommy Aldridge performs, Brad decided he wanted to learn to play Drums. Self-Taught, Dilbe
