Lance Manufacturing Co. Wins Big with RV News Magazine—Taking Home Two “RV Of The Year” Honors!

We are proud to announce that our New 1172 truck camper and New 2565 travel trailer have both earned prestigious awards for their innovative designs and exceptional quality.

The New 1172 is Lance's largest dual-slide truck camper, but still the lightest in its category. The NEW Lance 1172 includes the same two slide-outs popular in its older version but with a seating and dinette twist. The off-door slide-out accommodates motorized theater seats opposite the TV, while the rear slide transforms into a couple's dinette.

The New 2565 travel trailer builds on the success of the Lance 2375, now extending the chassis to 30 feet for even more comfort and convenience. Discontinued in the late 1990s, the manufacturer's Squire hopes to target RVers interested in “budget friendly” truck campers driving pickups such as the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier and Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon.

What do you think of our newly reimagined logo? We decided to draw on a classic design from the past to refocus on our core as we developed new products, symbolizing our future direction with a nod to where we came from. Lance started as M&M Trailer Supply in a 500-square-foot shop in 1965. We became Lancer in the late sixties and debuted our mascot, the mounted jousting knight. As we matured and focused on our pedigree product, the slide-in bed truck camper, we dropped the r and became the Lance you know today in reference to the medieval weapon. The Lance symbolized for us a pointed focus on quality and a passion to drive innovation forward in recreational vehicles.
