New Year’s Resolution for you: Travel Smarter

Let’s be real about the benefits of using a Travel Agent for your cruise bookings. Most people would rather go online to the cruise line website directly and pay full price (because it’s easy and because you think you are really good at getting a good deal).

The truth is you’re probably missing out on some savings. Take a look at this quote I’m working on. 7 Night Alaskan cruise on Anthem of the Seas.

Same cabin! 😵😵‍💫😬🫨

Our consortia blocks a good number of rooms on many Royal Caribbean sailings and travel agents like myself can book those rooms for clients. You don’t need to have a “group” to get a group rate. The only downside to these rates is that they are only available on cabins of 2 (sorry to all my bigger families) and they get booked way in advance (so you need to book pretty far in advance).

If you can’t get a group rate, don’t worry! I promise I will watch your booking like a hawk and apply any price drops until the final payment due date. You might even get onboard credit or a gift from me based on the cost of your booking. Using a Travel Agent costs you nothing. We are paid by the cruise line and we will definitely make sure you get the best deal available.

This hot deal could melt the glaciers 🔥 🥵

Choosing when to go to Alaska will definitely either make or break your bank. I recently found this sailing on NCL’s Encore out of Seattle for a 7 night Alaskan cruise visiting Glacier Bay National Park. The price difference between mid/end of May and June is astonishing.

Sailing on May 18th-25th Balcony Cabin for 2: including all taxes and fees, all meals, 3 specialty dining restaurants, WiFi, and unlimited drink package: $4802 (without drink package $4382).

Same exact ship, itinerary and cabin for 2 sailing on June 15th: $8598 (without drink package $8178).

Mid/end of May is a perfect time to visit Alaska as it’s shoulder season. You will avoid a large number of tourists at ports, enjoy 16+ hours of sunshine a day, temperatures in the upper 40s to mid 60’s and no rain!

An iconic vacation is on my future! 🤩🤩🤩

Winter break will never be the same! 🤩

This family of 4 reached out to me to book a short 3 night cruise out of Miami before the kids went back to school. After doing some research and having some conversations with my client, I found they could do a 4 night cruise (by just waiting 3 days from the original planned sail date) and the kids would sail for free (just paying taxes). So they are now booked on the Allure of The Seas for a 4 Nights Bahamas cruise, including the always fun and beautiful CocoCay, and they saved around $800 from the original quote for a 3 day cruise.
