It’s sunflower season in Lawrence, Kansas. The fields at Grinter Farms (featured in the reel) are on track to bloom around Labor Day, and their shop Sunflower General is already open daily from 9-5 for the next three weeks. There, you will find the cutest sunflower merch, this year’s t-shirt design, and fresh baked cinnamon rolls. Yum. You can find Sunflower General at 14755 243rd Street. South of Lawrence, the fields of Hunsinger Sunflower Patch are already in bloom and so beautiful! Hunsinger invites you to cut the flowers for $2 a head. Find it at 923 E 1450 Rd. Both farms are free and open to the public during daylight hours, but please consider leaving a donation for the farmers if you are able.
