We sure do love winter! We also love our and all the shoveling they save us…plus warm feet on the way to the hot tub ♥️ Looking forward to snowmobiling right from the cabin this winter, and jumping on the Plain Valley Cross Nordic Ski Trails just minutes away. There is so much to do in winter, no wonder it’s our favorite season ❄️

Something (or someone) tore off the sign at our trailhead… we’re not saying it was Bigfoot, but we’re also NOT not saying it was Bigfoot. We ran into the team in Wenatchee and shared the evidence… case is still open.

About last night… the stars at the cabin are 🌟 always 🌟 magical, but the Perseid Meteor Shower just takes it to the next level.

Gazing at the Milky Way while watching the shooting stars zip across the sky is something we will always cherish with our children. 💫

comes to an end and back to reality! We got LOTS done at the cabin, from main bedroom makeover (love this cozy cabin vibe) to carpet cleaning and washing everything in between, plus new stairs, lots of weeding the garden and knocking down the tall grasses along the stream.

We also soaked in the beauty of Plain and Leavenworth, with multiple trips to the lake, the river, Plain Hardware, the farmers market, Touratech Rally, the pump track, ski hill, Black Bird Island…I’m sure I forgot some things!

Never enough time and always a good time ❤️
