Snowy winter coming? ❄️ I keep hearing it’ll be a cold one. ❄️ And judging by the bookings we are already getting, you’re expecting it too.

Our Lake Harmony cottage is right near Jack Frost and Big Boulder. 🎿 ⛷️ 🏔️ Our Gouldsboro cabin is not too far from Camelback AND if you cross-country ski 🎿or snowshoe, you can do that in the Gouldsboro state park adjacent to our house (Byo gear) or you can sled down our BBLCA epic sledding hills. We provide snow tubes and suggest you bring a helmet 🪖 - think bunny ski slope turned sledding hill! 🛷 🏔️

We selected Alaffia brand specifically because of these traits, and we use large bottles rather than small disposables to limit the environmental impact of the conveniences we provide. In Gouldsboro state park there is a gorgeous 250-acre lake. You can access it via a hiking path behind our Big Bass Lake rental or you can drive to one of the parking lots. It is open from sunrise to sunset. You can launch a boat here. Electric motors only; slow, no-wake speed.

Did you know both of our rentals are pet-friendly? You’ve got a dog and she loves to hike, so of course you want to bring her with. We get it, and if your pet vouches for you, you can stay too! 😜

Our 4-legged guests have absolutely loved their stays. From basking in the sun that shines through our full walls of windows in Gouldsboro, to dragging you through the pet-friendly state parks near both rentals (Gouldsboro state park is right behind the Gouldsboro rental and Hickory Run is a short drive from Lake Harmony), the doggos have never been happier. Why should they get left behind when you’re having the time of your life?!

Yesterday the rain didn’t stop us from enjoying a gorgeous view and a nice lunch at Boulder View. 🍔 🍁
