Took a few days to process but here we are....2007 I joined The Kings of the Coast ....a band of misfits and miclscreants but damn it is an amazing thing to be a part of. We did a Disney toys for tots drive, we did multiple haunted experiences....crew members who in all honestly are family have had to sign off the ship cause of this thing called life. I am utterly and entirely blessed to ALWAYS have like minded individuals who enjoy being a King as much as I do. I will always appreciate all who have flown under the skull , crossed swords and crown . Lately I'm tired and feel the burden but them someone always remind me I'm not alone....I'm Black Jack Callan damnit...love me, hate me I don't care I am KOTC and any andl ALL who had the pleasure and distinction of being a part of this will always be welcome at my table ! I Will always roll down that Hill at Montauk, there mat be a day I dont but that day is clearly not today ! THUS ENDETH THE LESSON ! Sounds off all you legacy ! And point of reference most pictures Captain Duchie seems to be pointing a gun at my head.....hummm

Hook and Smee....got love these Idjiots Robert Surber ...when you get the chance to do something you love with some of your best friends you don't say No!! You never know what misadventures these two will have especially when you have a stacked deck of other villians to play with. A cautionary tale: I often avoid in depth heart to hearts because Frankly my life misadventures are uniquely my own. I have made colossal f**k ups and attempted to own them as best I can. I won't apologize for who I am or where I have been. That said I will always hear your story, won't criticize or analyze your steps. We all hurt.. I will continue to make misadventures as I hope you do as well. We are imperfectly perfect we are human!

My crew is my family...when one hurts we ALL hurt. All who have been under our flag or support the Kings I ask for good vibes and prayers to whomever or whatever you believe in. One of our own needs some extra love and support. The commodore always preached about the healing power of the crew and this is beyond contestation! It's all I can ask but give me a Loud and hearty Yo Ho!!! Raise your mugs to our mate Dylan....always supporting and encouraging us hapless pirates! He is KOTC !!!

Toughest Job you will ever love....yarrrrr not kidding!! We had an amazing weekend with our friends at The Captree Dockside Family Festival...there was a plethora of things to see including but not limited to super heroes landings, open field tackling on the play ground of one mutineer who apparently hasn't learned after 15 years that being a mutineer against The Kings of the Coast is a losing proposition ...yes we are looking at you Black Jack....we admire your persistence and have learned even thou we can't count on you we can ALWAYS count on you and your cohorts...cough cough Krystal Carruthers, Jon Silver , Naga Carnage AND Bonnie Read...cough...cough...to inevitably and predictable mutiny!!! CAPTAIN DUCHESS always keeps her eye on you and her hand on her sword for you "rum soaked chowderheads " and even added "pea brained barnacles " to the description this week!

SLAINTE! Happy Saint Patrick Day to all who celebrate! As our own Black Jack Callan says " There is absolutely no soda in soda bread so it's healthy for ya!" Ok he has no idea what backing soda is but we get the point. Remember you can always tell an Irishman...you just can't tell him much! For once we are gonna agree with the big goofball!

It's been far too long, banished for the good of the realm and all that ....but you can't keep a good crew down! We are going to be out and about causing mayhem and misadventure at some lucky or unlucky child's birthday party all depends upon your point of view...savvy....some of the most infamous of the Kings will be there ! I mean that's way better them famous right???? BLACK JACK CALLAN, NAGA CARNAGE , STEVEN MCQUADE ...and KOTC pirate Royalty himself WILLIE SMALLS...don't tell Captain Duchie she things we are home washing our clothes or ...bathing....shhhh cause remember DEADMEN TELL NO TALES!
