Bittersweet announcement here folks.. It pains me to say that Paddle & Pedal Rockbridge will be suspending operations until further notice due to an opportunity I simply couldn’t pass up. I hope to find staffing before River Season to still run paddle trips and rentals so stay tuned!

On a brighter note, The reason I’m not able to operate Paddle Rockbridge this season is because I recently took over the canoe livery inside Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park & Campground in Live Oak, FL! I’d like to introduce y’all to our new venture, Suwannee River Outpost! Come see me down south now, ya hear? 🛶💚

Cleanup Round 2 was a success! We topped our last weigh out by 7 lbs! 426 lbs of trash collected from the today! We're going to keep doing this every other month so keep your eyes peeled for the next event if you'd like to join!

Had the pleasure of meeting some flatpickin' and rythm keepin' bluegrass LEGENDS on the river the other day, and got to paddleboard with the one and only Jenny Keel 💃🎻 !!! 2 of the sweetest, most down to earth folk walkin' this planet, although if you listen to 'em play, I'm not so sure they are from Earth 😂...

AIGHT Y'ALL.. Time to announce another free river cleanup day! JULY 29th @ 1pm at the Beans Bottom Bridge access. This will be a Beans Bottom to Jordan's Point downriver float. Text or call 540-460-2681 to reserve your free kayak and we will pick up as much trash as we can on our way down the river! We collected over 400 lbs of trash on the last one, and aim to top that on this one!

Yoooo these bikes are too much fun! Safety First, so you just have to go on 1 guided tour with us so that we can show you the best backroads to ride on, and the roads to absolutely avoid such as Route 11 or 60, other than the downtown section. Once we know you're good to go on the bike and know the hand signals for riding on the roads, we're happy to let you safely explore on your own!

Our apologies for the delay in posting, but our soft opening/ free river cleanup was a success! There were 12 of us in the floatilla and we removed 419 lbs of trash from the Maury River between Beans Bottom and Jordan's Point!!

What's Up Y'all?!?

We are introducing and opening an outdoor adventure company based out of Jordan's Point Park in Lexington, VA this May 2023!

We specialize in guided Kayak, Paddleboard (SUP), and E-bike tours, but will also offer self-guided rentals after you've taken the tour (so you know where to go without destroying equipment when the water is low)

Welcome to Paddle & Pedal Rockbridge !

Our first event is going to be a free kayaking and river clean-up float from Beans Bottom bridge to Jordan's Point Park to pick up trash after the Road & River Relay on Saturday, May 6!

We will meet on the East or Lexington side of the bridge at 1pm. Call or text 540-460-2681 for information or to reserve your free kayak rental! We will have a limited number of tandem and single kayaks available on a first to sign up, first serve basis.
