I have three cabins of beautiful ladies that will be sailing the Carnival Mardi Gras this Spring Break and I'm so excited for them!

The Carnival Excel Class ships are perfect for families and teens. I know they will have a blast exploring ports, eating amazing food and enjoying all this great ship has to offer...so many activities and spaces to enjoy. I want to go too!!! 🙂

☀️Jotted down a few packing tips while getting ready for our Caribbean cruise next week ☀️

Cruise pros - what am I missing or what are some of your go tos I haven’t listed? 🤔

- [ ] ID/Passport/Boarding documents/luggage tags
- [ ] Lanyard if needed
- [ ] Phone charger
- [ ] Small Amount of cash for tipping, shopping from locals in port, etc
There will be a safe in the room for valuables.
- [ ] Books or magazines if you like to read to relax
- [ ] Glasses/contacts
- [ ] Sunglasses
*Toiletries-body wash and shampoo and conditioner will be provided in the shower on most cruise lines. There will also be a bar of soap in the bathroom for handwashing*

*Trim down your makeup bag and just take the essentials. You can use smaller travel bottles so you don’t have to take full size products. Many cruises I give my face a break from makeup*
- [ ] Qtips
- [ ] Razor/shaving cream/lotion
- [ ] Face wash/lotions and potions
- [ ] Deodorant/perfume
- [ ] Toothpaste/toothbrush/floss
- [ ] Hair brush, mousse/gel/hairspray. Hair clips/bands.
- [ ] Nail file/polish if needed
- [ ] Medications-bring any daily medications, we also bring allergy meds, vitamins, headache meds, pepto tabs and Imodium, a few bandaids and motion sickness meds - I recommend Bonine (meclizine tabs)
*There are not many toiletries or over the counter meds for sale onboard so bring anything you think you may need*

- [ ] sunblock..the Caribbean sun can be intense.
- [ ] downy wrinkle release works wonders to freshen up and dewrinkle your clothes. Just grab a travel size bottle*

*Hair dryers are provided in the cabin as well as beach towels and robes. If they aren’t there when you board just ask!*

A few cruise specific items you may want to bring would be:
- [ ] Refillable cup
- [ ] Reusable straws
- [ ] Laundry bag for dirty clothes
- [ ] Towel clips for lounge chair
- [ ] Small bag for port days, beach, pool
- [ ] Magnetic hooks for hanging coats, bags, hats, etc

As far as clothes:
- [ ] bathing suits/coverups and sandals. Bring several!
- [ ] Sunhat-sometimes it’s too windy but good to have if needed.
- [ ] tshirts and comfy shorts or leggings for relaxing. There is a walking track and gym so bring tennis shoes if you plan to do any activities where you need comfy shoes.
- [ ] sundresses/rompers
*for dinner and because they are light and easy to pack. I will use those for dinner and most likely boarding day. You can be as casual or as dressy as you like. I usually take a few basic items I can mix and match! If there is a formal night on your sailing get as fancy as you want!*

*Bring casual and comfy for the ports and around the ship
Light blouses, capris, leggings, shorts..anything goes*

*I always take jeans and never ever wear them*

- [ ] sweater/shawl/hoodie for windy decks, chilly venues

*Don’t bring too many shoes! I usually bring a pair of flip flops, a dressier sandal and tennis shoes.*
- [ ] Un**es, socks, pjs
- [ ] Fan or sound machine *check
with me for any restrictions

- [ ]Theme night items:
80’s night, pj parties, white night, scarlet night, etc.

- [ ]Wine and sodas to bring onboard. Just check with me for amounts and restrictions for your particular cruise! 🍷

- [ ] items to use in port, water shoes, snorkel gear, floats, etc.
