One thing I love about my job is that no two days are ever the same and no two trip needs are the same for any family. I take great pride in doing whatever is requested of me and doing the tasks required with great care.
This package was not my "usual" or typical in any way. I literally was able to bring a family together after a long-awaited adoption process. This involved quick turnaround time, tricky schedules timed out to the minute for customs and paperwork processing, and many prayers with angels on earth that helped the pieces fall into place.
This job is never about the money it makes me. It's about the memories and the people, period.

I spent today connecting with many peers and mentors in the romance travel/destination wedding industry. At Paris hotel and casino in Vegas, home of many bachelorette/bachelor parties and of course, known for its elopement and wedding packages, there couldn’t be a better spot for the best in the biz to come together. ❤️🌏

United is leading the way with new policies for families traveling together!!!
If you have the need to be seated together with members of your family, check out these steps United is taking to ease this anxiety.
Other tips to have the best seat selection:

1. Call your travel agent! ( I wish I could stop here, but, we are only as magical as the airlines policies allow.)
2. Consider airlines that offer family seating options.
3. Call the airline ahead of time to problem solve seating options
4. Talk to the gate agent upon arrival to the gate.
5. Plan ahead and select seats as soon as possible after flight purchase.

So excited for our city and the new airport! I got to take a peek around today with my mom and am happy to report it is going to be fantastic for travelers!!!
Lots of signage make it easy to navigate. It reminded me a lot of MCO (Orlando) but not nearly as big. The central departure gate and TSA area will be new for us Kansas-Citians but it will be very efficient.

*If you’ve heard about all the great restaurants to enjoy at the airport, you may think those are open to the public. You DO need to be a ticketed passenger to get through security to the restaurant area.*
Whether your plans have you coming or going through MCI, I think you’ll get used to it quickly and see the ease in which it will help move more travelers through the heartland.

I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time to meet one of the architects of SOM and had a chance to thank their team for their work. It was a fun conversation with him about all that was considered to make this an effective and improved addition for KC.
I also had the privilege of seeing our family friend and her art display selected for gate B46. Her creativity and thoughtful artwork tells a fascinating story of KC’s history. Thank you for the invite !

(Think Academy Awards for the Kansas City area wedding vendors.) ❤️🎊🎉🍾
We are very humbled to have been nominated two years in a row. Receiving the award this year is a testament to the work of an entire AWESOME team. It celebrates my family’s sacrifices and support over several years. To be recognized by peers, colleagues and other professionals is such an honor.
This business is my dream and I still pinch myself sometimes as I realize it’s REAL. Yes, there have been challenges. There have been people that didn’t believe in me or think I had what it took to run a successful company. There have been hard lessons, mistakes, rough days, risks and setbacks.
There have also been triumphs, lifelong memories made, colleagues and clients that have become family, business partners and mentors creating strong bonds, many amazing views and much valuable perspective gained.
I wouldn’t change one thing from the past 10+ years because right now, with the people on our team, the clients we get to help and the future of our company has never looked better.

A very special family has booked this luxury property for a vacay in May!!
