Join us for Lincoln City’s Fall Kite Festival 🪁 Coming next weekend, September 23-24!

We’ll have exciting kite demonstrations by experts, kite-making, and of course the colorful, giant kites floating above our beautiful beach.

All the action takes place at D River State Recreation Site.

Here's what we have planned:

SATURDAY 9/23

~ 10:00 am: Announcements and opening performance

~10:00 am - 2:00 pm: FREE Kite Making Workshop. Donations to benefit Family Promise of Lincoln County

~ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm: Performances by Featured Fliers

SUNDAY 9/24

11:00 am - 11:20 am: Kite Flier Memorial

12:30 pm - 1:30 pm: Mega Fly! Enjoy watching all fliers on the field together

1:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Performances by Featured Fliers

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Tours of the Big Kite Field

4:00 pm: Festival Closes

All day festivities include:

"Saving Pirate Ryan” is a ground floor studio with an amazing ocean view and a patio for relaxing and watching the waves. This condo is one of the few ground floor units that boast a King bed and a walk-in shower. Saving Pirate Ryan comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette featuring a full-sized refrigerator, stovetop and oven, drip coffee pot, and microwave, as well as a small dining table to allow you to enjoy an oceanfront dining experience from the comfort of your condo.
