We went to Tropic Falls at OWA on pop’s last full day with us. It’s such a cool little hidden gem that’s only 1hr 15min away from Navarre. It has something for everyone of every age; an indoor/outdoor water theme park and carnival-style rides outdoors. We kept jumping between those two because it was so hot! The best part is, the rides barely have any queue on them. It’s definitely a great quick getaway or a pit stop during a road trip.
When the circus comes to town, it’s a family event 🤩
My family and I went to Universal Studios over the weekend and we had a blast! We bought the 2 days tickets and got 2 more days free which have to be redeemed before June 21, 2023. It’s a Florida resident deal 🤩 Out of the 3 parks, we chose to go to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Island of Adventures. Since we arrived in Orlando pretty late on Thursday night, we decided to do Universal Studios on Friday because we knew there were not many rides that our kids can go on, so we predict that we don’t need the whole day to enjoy it. On Saturday, after a good night sleep, we went to the Island of Adventure and I’m glad we did it this way because, boy oh boy, there were so many rides that my kids can go on and we spent the whole day there. On Sunday, after checking out, we spent the morning at the pool before starting our 6hr drive back to Navarre. Keep a lookout for my next post where I will post a list of things that we did that I either find useful or unnecessary 😅
2022 has been full of adventures and trials and tribulations. It’s the year I start Lepak Travels and I’ve never looked back. I want to thank all of you for your support and for trusting me in helping you research and plan your trips. I still have a huge learning curve and ya’ll have been so encouraging. Our last night on the ship was a blast. We had dinner at Test Kitchen where the food is a little different. Then we headed to a show calle “Untittled Dance Show Party Thing” where the stage moves around and because there’s no seats for the audience, the dancers mingled with everyone on the floor. We ended the night with Circus Disco which blended in to a Disco night where they played nostalgic dance music. If only we had one more night on the ship 😂
Day 4, we port at Bimini, which is part of the Bahamas. We booked a shore thing, snorkeling at the Sapona shipwreck and with the sharks. Unfortunately, the water was too rough for snorkeling at the shipwreck so they brought us to see the sharks first. The sharks were just the Caribbean reef sharks so they’re curious but friendly as long as you don’t instigate anything with them. After getting our dose of vitamin sea, we headed over to Bimini Beach Club exclusive to Virgin Voyages. Food and drink are still included and the pool party was fuuun!
We spent our 3rd day on Scarlet Lady sailing to the Bahamas. We thought we were going to have time to chill at the pool for a long time but we only spent 15 min in the hot tub because we chose to go to a magic show, and then changed for dinner before we watched an improv show “NY Full Throttle”, and ended the night with “Duel Reality”, a circus inspired Romeo and Juliet production.
2nd night on the ship was Scarlet night ♥️ A lot of us wore red or had a splash of red on ourselves. We started the night off with watching a raunchy and erotic show called “Never Sleep Alone”, then we watched “Diva Around the World in 80 days” and ended the night with an out of the world Scarlet night pool party. It was lit!! 🔥🔥
Day 2 on the Scarlet Lady 🌞 First stop of our voyage was Key West. Such a gorgeous little island with wonderful weather. We rented a scooter because we wanted to explore the outskirts of the touristy part but if you’re going to stay in the downtown area, you can just walk around. You definitely have to eat the key lime pie here since this was where it originated from, and also the conch fritters.
This cruise has been a blast and we got to spend so much time together just being ourselves. I’ll post more reels as soon as we recover from this vacation ❤️👋😅
