Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Penobscot County, Maine. April 21, 1989.

The horror film "Pet Sematary" is released in theaters. Based on the Stephen King's novel, much of the movie was filmed in Maine.

Bangor's own Stephen King appeared in a cameo as a minister performing a funeral. The funeral was filmed in Bangor's Mount Hope Cemetery.

They drove all the way up to Bangor , Maine to take A tour of Stephen King's house .... movie filming sites.....A shootout death scene .......the couch A Vice president of America died on , and where he's buried ........an so much more !
