Save the date: Members are invited to join us at the Littleton Food Co-op on Saturday, September 14th from 12-3pm for our annual Partner of the Month Fair. This year, we have a record 36 local non-profit organizations vying for your votes to be a future Partner of the Month. On Saturday the 14th we are so pleased to have 25 of those organizations joining us at the Co-op to meet you all! We were so excited to contribute to the Youth Exhibit for the Franconia ArtWalk Association located on Main St. In Franconia! The kids did a fantastic job 🎨🖌creating and inspiring out of recycled wood. Thanks goes to BGC volunteer, Sam Talcott, for helping to construct the tower and donate the wood. So cool 💖 Check it out!

Our last week of camp, Carnival Week 🎟️🎡 was full of fun!

In addition to our Carnival Day, our members had a busy last week of camp!

Our field trip to Clarks Trading Post to see the bears and the Circus show was amazing!

We had an incredible Camper’s Got Talent Show where members performed magic tricks, sang & danced, showed off their yo-yo skills and more!

Our Pod 3 members got to showcase the hard work they put in at the Entrepreneur Showcase! Our pod 3 members put in work throughout the week doing market research, product testing, advertising, sales pitches and more! The members in pod 1 & 2 were given tickets to purchase their favorite products after hearing the sales pitch from each business! We’re so proud of the hard work they put in!

Members from pod 2 & 3 explored Furbearers found in the Northeast and got to make their own field guides. Big thanks to NH Fish and Game for letting us borrow their Furbearer’s Kit!

We are sad to end our ten weeks of Summer Camp but wish all of our Campers a great start to their school year! 📚🚌

What’s Camp without a Carnival 🎡
We had so much fun at our end of summer carnival with face painting, juggling & plate spinning, water balloons, bubbles, ribbon wand making, and tons of games & prizes!
To top it off we enjoyed delicious ice cream sundaes 🍨

We had s SUPER 🦸🏻‍♂️ week!
Our camp superheroes had a great week making Superhero shields, crafting their own Superhero stories & scenes, and of course testing their Superhero skills during Superhero training!
Our campers had an incredible field trip in Bethlehem at The Colonial Theatre seeing the North Country Moosical Musical 🎵 followed by a fun filled afternoon of swimming at Bethlehem Town Pool

Science week was a success last week!🧑‍🔬🧪🔬
Our campers experimented with ice cream flavors, created their own science labs with Legos, conducted tons of experiments, and got a visit from the Discovery Dome thanks to McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center 🔭
Plus loads of fun at Montshire Museum of Science on our field trip Wednesday!

Our members went for gold last week for Olympics Week!
🇫🇷🇬🇭🇧🇷Campers explored the countries of Ghana, Brazil & France through music, games, art, and food!
🏃We competed in daily Olympic Games where campers showed off their talents & good sportsmanship!
🫐🧈Campers traveled into the past by making their own butter & creating their own ink with berries!

Congrats to France (Pod 2) for winning Gold in 5 events including the sportsmanship medal, and being named the BGCNC 2024 Olympic champions!

Christmas in July Week was magical! 🎄🎅🏻🎁
Our club kids were busy little elves making ornaments, ice cream cone Christmas trees, visiting Book Mobile, racing their own Santa sleighs in STEM, making their own snow in art, and even learning about stop motion film making during Summer Brain Gain & creating their own clay characters!
Not to mention a field trip to Santa’s Village and a concert performed at our club by the North Country Chamber Players!

Space week was out of this world! ☄️🚀👽
Our campers got to make and taste space food, created alien art, galaxy slime, explored sun protection through solar art making, made their own spacesuits, put their STEM skills to the test by creating and testing their own Mars Rover landers, and so much more!

We are so excited, we just can't hide it! $15,000 was raised on opening day at the 🥪 Littleton Jersey Mike's, of which we were so fortunate to be the recipient of all their proceeds that day. A heart felt THANK YOU to this community for supporting us yet again! We heard that so many local businesses chose to make this their employee's lunch that day. 💖 How lucky are we to be a part of this loving, caring, generous community!
