It's been a while since I congratulated a few clients, so allow me to catch up a bit...

A HUGE Congratulations to Mr and Mrs "R" who left for a once in a lifetime trip today!! They are heading to Alaska for a 22 Day Adventure!! They are sailing with Silversea Cruises on the Silver Muse for a 10-night cruise. They'll visit Ketchikan, Endicott Arm, Juneau, Sitka, and Icy Straight Point, to name a few.

Before their cruise, they are going on a 6-night Majestic Rockies Vacation. They'll tour Lake Louise, ride on multiple trains, see Glacier Nation Park and so much more!!

After the Cruise, they are staying for a Denali Summit Vacation. They will visit Denali, ride the Alaska Railroad, and enjoy multiple tours.

And some of the best news about this amazing trip is that it's all connected through Silversea Cruises!! They were picked up from their home today and taken to the airport, all of their transportation, lodging, luggage handling, tours, train tickets, guides, and even a lot of their food, all organized and handled by Silversea!! When they are on the Silver Muse, all food, drinks, gratuities, EXCURSIONS, and a BUTLER are all included with their cruise price. Talk about all-inclusive cruising!!

I'm so excited for this couple and for the memories they will make on this trip!!

Disney World 2024 Day 6: Animal Kindgom

Our last park day of this trip. It's always a little sad to know your vacation is coming to an end, but this day kept us busy!!

We were a little late and didn't make it for rope drop, but we were still able to ride Everest 4x in a row without any wait!! Winning!! Next, we went over to our use our first Lightning Lane of the day at the Safari. We got to see the baby zebra!! 🦓

After that, we stopped at the Kusafiri Bakery for some breakfast, and we all loved it!! This will be a return stop for us on our next visit for sure. Then, off to Kali (and another year of our pre-ride picture). We actually didn't get that wet this time!! We took a few minutes to walk through the Maharajah Jungle Trek (a first for us) and then over to the Lion King Show (another first for us). Lion King Show was AMAZING!! Such talented performers!! I'm a little mad at myself for not trying this sooner.

We missed our Lightning Lane return time for Everest but decided to try to scan late and were excited that it let us in!! Another 5 minute wait, thanks to Lightning Lane Multi Pass. And then our last stop was Dinosaur 🦕 (maybe for the last time).

We made it on the bus seconds before the rain started. We didn't know it then, but that rain wouldn't stop coming down for over 24 hours. We grabbed lunch from the Contemporary. A perk of staying at a Monorail Resort is that you have 3 Resorts and their restaurants just a quick ride from your Resort. We took advantage of this a few times on this trip.

There was no pool time today because RAIN, but a nap and some packing filled our afternoon. For dinner, we were able to score a seat at the Tambu Lounge. Did you know that you can get most of the food offered at O'hana at the Tambu Lounge for just a portion of the cost? Yep!! Yummy O'hana Noodles and Pot Stickers and a frozen drink were the perfect end to our trip.

Disney World 2024 Day 5: Epcot

This trip, we tried to do something new each day, and our Epcot day was one of our favorites!! We did not make it in time for rope drop because we took our time this morning. After arriving at Epcot, we waited for Remy upon the boys request. Then, we took our time exploring the countries.

Did you know that you can find information on your family name at Disney? We learned about the Pacheco name, our Coat of Arms, what the symbols mean, and even got it printed out to take home. Such a special moment for our family to experience together.

Then we were off to Guardians!! We purchased the Lightning Lane Single Pass, got to pick our arrival time, and only waited 5 minutes. You definitely feel like V.I.P. walking in an almost empty queue past a huge line of people.

We spent more time exploring, watching pop up prefomers, tasting soda from Club Cool, seeing Snow White, and enjoying some tasty snacks from Germany and Japan.

After our mid-day rest, we went back to Epcot for our Virtual Queue of Guardians. This time, we waited in line for over an hour. Lightning Lanes WILL save you hours of waiting in line each day, as long as you are willing to pay the extra cost.

We finally made it to one of my bucket list restaurants, Le Cellier. Yes... this steak has a candle on it!! And yes, it was delicious!!

Our last stop was Journey of Water. We arrived just minutes before closing. It is beautiful and magical and everything I wanted it to be. ❤️

Disney World 2024 Day 4: Hollywood Studios

Once again, we started our day by rope dropping Hollywood Studios!! We went straight to Rise, and practically walked right on. Then we went over to Smugglers Run and walked right on that as well!!

Next stop was my favorite breakfast at HS, Woody's Lunchbox Poptart!! We hopped in line for Toy Story Mania and then walked over to Tower of Terror for the bigger boys to ride, TWICE!! Then back over to Toy Story Land for our Lightning Lanes for Toy Story Mania (again) and Slinky Dog!!

We grabbed lunch at Backlot Express before going back to the Polynesian for our mid-day swim and nap.

When we got back to the park, we had an early dinner at Mama Melrose for our Fantasmic Dining Package. Then, we walked on Muppets 3D and Star Tours. We only waited 5 minutes for Rock n' Roller Coaster, thanks once again to our Lightning Lane passes, then back to Star Tours and then Mickey and Minnie's. Our last ride of the day was another try at Smugglers Run where we learned that Alex is better than Zach at steering the ship. It was a bumpy ride!!

We used our Fantasmic Dining Package tickets to secure our amazing seats for the nighttime show. We were seated in the middle of the 3rd row and didn't need to be there super early. We LOVE this show!! It was the perfect end to our night.

Disney World 2024 Day 3: Typhoon Lagoon 🌴

We slept in and grabbed a quick breakfast and coffee from Kona Island. Delicious pineapple danish!! 🍍 Then off to Rope Drop Typhoon Lagoon!!

We walked on our first 6-7 rides of the day. I couldn't believe it was so empty!! 3x on Crush 'n' Gusher, Miss Adventure Falls, Humanga Kowabunga x2-4 (the boys loved this, me, not so much), Storm Slides, Mayday Falls, and then Wave Pool.

You know that feeling when the wave took you out so bad that the next time you see a wave coming you run like crazy to miss it? Yeah, me neither... 😂 Those waves are NO JOKE!!

We ate some lunch, chilled on the Lazy River and then went back to the Wave Pool. We made it out RIGHT before the rain started.

For dinner, we resort hopped to the Contemporary to enjoy Steakhouse 71. Alex says this was the BEST steak he had all trip... and he ate steak at 3 different restaurants.

We walked to the Magic Kingdom and caught a boat ride home to the Poly. While onboard, we got to watch the fireworks. I only cried like 2 times. Perfect ending to our day.

Disney World 2024 Day 2: Magic Kingdom ✨️

Staying on Disney property lets you get into the parks 30 minutes before all other guests, so of course we had to take advantage of it!! We got to the Magic Kingdom (on a practically empty boat) at 8am and waited for rope drop at 8:30am. Then, off to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!! This was our longest wait of the day and almost the whole trip, thanks to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Early/Late park hours. Our day and wait times went something like this...

Mine Train- 30 min.
Speedway with LL- 10 min.
Tron VQ- 20 min.
Buzz- 20 min.
Haunted Mansion with LL- 10 min.
Country Bears- 10 min.
Big Thunder with LL- 5 min.
(All before 12pm)

*BREAK FOR LUNCH, POOL, NAP, AND DINNER*

Space Mountain with LL- 5 min.
Buzz with LL- 5 min.
Tron with SLL- 10 min.
Jungle Cruise- 25 min.
Pirates- walk on
Tiana's with LL- walk on
Big Thunder- 15 min.
Little Mermaid- walk on
Space Mountain- 10 min.
(Left the park at 11:30pm)

For the first time EVER, we did not go and watch the fireworks on Main Street, but we did still get to see them from Adventureland!! The Magic Kingdom really is beautiful at night!!

Disney World 2024 Day 1: Travel Day and Disney Springs

A 5am flight is not everyone's favorite, but spending as much time as possible at Disney was our priority. After catching our Mears Shuttle, we were off to the Polynesian!! My favorite Disney Resort of all time.

The first stop was the Lobby to grab Chris' MagicBand and SURPRISE, our room was ready hours earlier than expected. Then, a quick bite at Capt. Cook's and off to the pool!!

After a nap, we got ready for our dinner at Disney Springs. Boathouse is one of our favorite restaurants in Disney Springs and it was delicious as always. The rain greeted us as we left our dinner, and Alex wasn't feeling great, so we went back to our room for the night. I was super bummed to not see the drone show at Disney Springs, but plans change often at Disney, so you just have to roll with it!!

When your flight out of Orlando is canceled, (not due only to weather but also a broken door) you rent a car and drive 28 hours home!! Well, that was the original plan anyway. Our replacement flight wasn't for another 2 days and waiting wasn't too appealing to us.

Now, we're driving to Atlanta to catch a flight home tonight. Hopefully our luggage will be waiting for us in Denver. Always an adventure!!
