We’re thrilled to share that from this Thursday through Saturday, we will have 38 talented artists painting throughout Livingston & Overton County. This is an amazing opportunity for our community to be showcased through art.

On Saturday, all artists will be downtown for a Quick Draw competition. Artists will have a limited time to complete their work, adding excitement and vibrancy to the square.

All finished artwork will be on display and available for purchase at the Public Library from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th.

Everyone have your calendars marked? It won't be long now. Get your spaces reserved for selling and your route planned out for buying.

PSA: Do NOT click the links or PM people saying they still have spaces unless YOU check them out well first!! They should leave a legitimate address and phone number within the area that you can look up to verify and I would call the number of the business rather than one they give you. I've had a lot of scammers I have tried to keep ahead of this year. If you see them and I don't, report them as spam and I'll hopefully find them that way and resolve the problem.

Join us for a Ribbon Cutting celebrating the installation of a 100 year time capsule on South Church St. today at 12pm. If you would like to put something in the time capsule bring it by South Church St. at 11am. We look forward to seeing you there.

FINALLY WE HAVE A SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR PIONEER DAYS!!!

We have LOTS of great things coming your way Friday & Saturday.

Talented artisans & crafters, some of the BEST musicians in our region, unique antiques & collectibles, plenty of history at the Dale Hollow Artifact Show & our Heritage Museum, awesome food, helicopter rides, LOADS of fun for the kids and even Redneck Chess. If you've never played then now's your chance!!

Make sure you come by the Chamber Tent to register for prizes and we will have Pioneer Days T-shirts and hats for sale there also!
