I was speaking with a major producer at an A-list company. He said that he is looking at all of his projects in development to see which could be redeveloped into animated series. Why?

Because animation can be done while largely maintaining social distancing guidelines! Simply put, these projects can be put into production more quickly. And "animated" does not mean just children's programming - but projects of all genres!

TCL Chinese Theatre is one of the several historic movie theaters on Hollywood Boulevard. It was originally known as (and still commonly referred to) Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. In 1973, the name was changed to Mann’s Chinese Theatre. The current name became official in 2013 when the TCL Corporation purchased the naming rights. By coincidence, the TCL Corporation is a Chinese company. One of the first things the TCL Corporation did was to partner with the IMAX Corporation to create the world’s largest IMAX movie screen inside the Chinese Theatre. In 1922, Sid Grauman built the famous Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. That theater was such a success that he commissioned the construction of a new theater. He choose as the theme a Chinese motif for his new theater. Grauman’s Chinese Theatre opened in May 1927 with the premier of Cecil B. DeMille’s film The King of Kings. Since that time, the theater has been the home for many world premieres of Hollywood films.
