Welcome to the Official business page of THE SAMBALAYA SHOPPE! History. Efficiency. Sincerity. It is on this principle that The Sambalaya Shoppe was founded.

These are characteristics indicative The Sambalaya Shoppe – the boutique vocal studio offering an array of vocal production services to Music Producers, Composers, and Songwriters all over the world. In Louisiana, where ‘The Shoppe grew its roots, traditional fare such as home made Jambalaya and Wedding Cake Daiquiris are prepared in tiny shacks, and served to consumers at drive through windows –

quality product with a humble beginning. Begun in 2007, ‘The Shoppe is an invention of Samantha Blanchard – a Los Angeles transplant by way of the Deep South. Samantha is an industry recognized singer, songwriter, vocal producer and audio engineer. An astute observer, she served as production staff for two years under record producer Andrew Lane (High School Musical, Hannah Montana), in North Hollywood’s famous Track Record recording studios. There, she worked around many young artists of The Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, honing her skills as a vocal producer and learning the ropes of audio engineering. In 2009, she was a featured vocalist alongside Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of famous R&B girl group TLC, on the posthumous album Eye Legacy. In 2011, Sam ventured into the live sound world and ran live sound programming for artists like Chris Brown, Nicki MInaj and Joe Jonas. And after almost 10 years of neglecting her own aspirations as a solo artist, she released the Blues EP "French Postcards" in partnership with Star Era on March 1, 2016. The Sambalaya Shoppe is a freelance vocal production service business, with the ability to reach people anywhere on the globe. Clients can include major record producers, songwriters, or composers looking to add vocal elements to their projects. With over 12 years of recording experience, Samantha Blanchard brings to the table the professionalism of an industry vet, with the humility and accessibility of a young entrepreneur – quality product with a humble beginning.
