This beautiful bloom makes me happy. It's on a rhododendron that refused to die. Over the winter, we had excess rain and softened soil, so when several bouts of high wind hit, the entire rhododendron was uprooted several times. I kept replanting and although we lost about 50%, what remains sprouted leaves and now blooms. Yay!
