Would you kayak the Glendale Narrows again? This adventure begins and ends in the middle of a burgeoning creative community now best known as Frogtown. Officially called the Elysian Valley. The community sits on a wide flood plain that also includes the neighborhoods of Cypress Park, Glassell Park, Silver Lake, and Atwater Village. It’s important to note that it was first home to the native Tongva people.

Get ready for the 2022 LA River Season !

Our goal is to ensure all of our guides have proper training. Each year our guides go through an intense Swift water rescue training. They practice how to navigate through swiftly moving water, throw bags, overcoming obstacles in water as well boat rescue techniques. Understanding water flow and the dangers it holds. In addition, every guide is trained in First aid, CPR and AED. We are proud to work alongside @sierrarescue
