When I arrive at a travel destination, I want to feel at home right away. My stay might be only three days, and it would be disappointing to spend two of those days just getting used to my temporary abode. You don't have to spend a lot, as shown in the picture below. Just a few colors and items that you, as a host, personally like can make a guest feel like they're visiting a friend.
