Music for Liberty We provide dynamic, engaging music for a range of media projects that celebrate human liberty.

We are a composing team with a depth of musical experience, dedicated to the core principle of individual human liberty, and we would be excited to work with you to find the perfect musical voice for your liberty-oriented project. We offer 3 Tiers of service to accommodate a range of budgets:

• TIER 1: We compose a custom score for your project that will be unique and exclusive for you.
• TIER 2:

We edit music to your project drawing from our extensive library.
• TIER 3: You license and easily download tracks from our library and edit them yourself into your project. Scott McRae and Ryan Rapsys are a composing team based in Los Angeles who have been working in multimedia music for over a decade. They recently collaborated on the score for Can We Take A Joke?, a provocative documentary that premiered at Doc NYC. Between them, their musical skills have been utilized in over 100 films and TV series, including projects such as Furious 7, Dateline NBC, Rush Hour 3, The Today Show, The Pursuit of Happyness, and WWE Monday Night Raw.

This past year, we hosted 9 webinars focused around the collaborations between filmmakers and music professionals, exploring various aspects of what it means to put music to media, including two very special liberty-focused webinar with director Justin Folk where we discussed our collaboration on WHAT IS A WOMAN? and with the Bragg Brothers where we discussed their work on the MPI-produced A PIECE OF CAKE.

Born in England and raised in Canada, James finished a Masters Degree in the UK and began his career at Coda Post Production in Central London. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film sound and while working at WSM Post Production in Beverly Hills, he had the opportunity to work on several high profile projects including Academy Award winning films like “Get Out” (Universal) and “Moonlight” (A24). James began work at Monkeyland Audio as a Supervising Sound Editor and Re-Recording Mixer in 2017. Shortly after starting there he supervised the Emmy Nominated “PEN15” (Hulu). In 2019, James worked alongside Dolly Parton on her Netflix Original Series “Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings”. In 2020, James was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for his work on Season 2 of Netflix’s Original Series “Trinkets” in the Outstanding Sound Mixing and Editing for a Drama or Daytime Fiction category. Following this, he worked on an IMAX concert film from the band Muse called “Simulation Theory” (Amazon Prime) as well as a Quibi original starring John Tavolta and Kevin Hart called “Die Hart”.

John Duffy was born in the South Bronx. He is a producer and actor, known for Miracle in East Texas (2019), A Sunday Horse (2016) and Men of Gray - The Flying Squad (2019). In addition to producing more than 50 projects, he has line-produced training films for the USMC and has been a film professor at the Art Center of Pasadena and John Paul the Great Catholic University in Escondido. John has spoken at NASA, worked with Tony Robbins, and has participated as a speaker in conferences across the globe.
