Scott Michaels here from M One Studios checking in with all of you here on Facebook to say Happy New Year and good gigging to everyone in 2015! Our entire staff at M One is proof positive on how to build a successful career in the music industry after getting your start on cruise ships and I would like to take a moment to share my story with you.

I worked on cruise ships first as an orchestra drummer, then stepped up to a music director position after 1.5 years. Quickly after, I was blessed with an opportunity to lead my own band. After a 6-year career on ships, I built the skill set that it took to take my business chops and my playing to the next level.

Building M One Studios from the ground up with my friend and CEO of our company Mike Eyia, allowed me to create my own destiny and my personal plan for success. They key to this was simple. Build strong relationships with like minded individuals who want to work together to achieve common goals. Since my tenure on ships, I am now a successful agent at M One, a full-time performer, and I manage one of the most prominent entertainment companies in Dallas, TX. I bought a brand new car, I am getting married in 3 months and buying my first home in 6 months. What I learned with M One is what has put me in the place am now to ONLY take the gigs that I want and continue to watch my bank account grow.

Getting to play with the best musicians in the industry and watch my friends and colleagues make their own dreams come true is just the icing on the cake!
