4 great PAX explored land and sea with Yankovic at the Patriot! After the workout, YHC made the point that God loves wondrous variety, and Yank definitely shares His sentiment. We did a little of everything, including Yank’s customary 10 minute drill and 2 rounds of manatees (known as salamanders to some). Our resident Minister of Fitness has the Q tomorrow at the Patriot! That’s right, men. It is the Manatee-man himself, Yankovic! Here is the rundown: Who doesn’t love Surf and Turf? Tomorrow we do surf and turf F3 style. Throw in a 10 minute drill. Add a 4 corners and you have a full body beat down. No coupons necessary. 11 HIMS accepted the challenge and participated in a scavenger hunt around our beloved city of Lagrange. The HIMS met at the Statue of Col. William Oldham and separated into two teams. Theme: Working the corners Nothing crazy, no balls, just good old fashion reps and miles. We will meet up and each HIM will say either left, right, straight. We will then see where it takes us, following the all the hims directions deep into Norton Commons. We will stop to work each corner with various exercises and Reps. DK and Portabucket co-led 5 PAX in an absolute beatdown at the Patriot. Our shoulders are now completely wrecked, and will be for the foreseeable future. They said they wanted us 1% better, but they were clearly aiming for their stretch goal of 3%. Nice work, DK and Mr. Bucket. I am sure we will be able to lift our arms again in a few days.
