Derby is one of the busiest times of year for many local businesses, including transportation companies. This week, RDH Limo & Charter LLC owner Robert Holmes III will have 25 drivers on the roadways to help meet the high demand.

But Robert isn't just focused on one week of the year, he's preparing for his business' future growth with some help from Louisville Metro Government and Community Ventures. RDH Limo & Charter obtained a loan through the Economic Development's METCO program and from Community Ventures to help him hire a dispatcher and purchase 2 new transit vans, bringing his fleet to 7 vehicles and allowing him to better meet his customers' needs.
