We are hiring in Nashville, Washington DC, Louisville, and Orlando.

Are you interested in entertaining guests with spooky ghost stories AND making money at the same time? Are you a people-person that loves performing?

If so, then being a tour guide with Amerighost’s Nashville Ghost Tours might be what you are looking for.

What can you expect being a Tour Guide?

Our tour guide’s have flexible hours. It’s a perfect position for people looking for supplemental income. Many of our guide’s are actors, teachers, professional entertainers and talented people looking for a creative outlet that also provides the ability to earn extra income.

Our pay rates are always the most competitive compared to other tour companies across the country ($40-$120 per night), and on top of that the tour guide’s are also able to receive tips.

In Nashville, we have 3 different tours. Our original Haunted Downtown Tour is nightly walking tour about a mile in distance and is approximately 90 minutes. The Haunted Hearse Tour is an all riding tour and each tour is 60 minutes (8:00 and 9:30). The Haunted Tavern Tour is a 21 and up and only tour, and it lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours.

In Washington DC, we have two night time walking tours.

In Louisville and Orlando, we have one night time walking tour.

Ideal candidates should be able to reliably commute into the downtown Nashville area, be able to walk a mile at a comfortable pace, and have some experience in public speaking and customer service.

What if I’ve never been a tour guide?
That’s not a problem! Most of our tour guides have never led tours before joining us. We offer one-on-one training, the script, the ability to shadow a veteran tour guide, and we join you on a rehearsal and help with suggestions and tips prior to your first tour.

About the positions:

Haunted Downtown Louisville Tour Guide

The Haunted Downtown Louisville Tour is a walking tour of haunted historic buildings in the downtown Louisville area. Tour guides dress in Victorian costumes and present the stories to tour groups. The walking tour averages 90 minutes in length and runs nightly March - November. The ideal candidate for this tour is a great story-teller/ public speaker, is responsible, and possesses good customer service skills. This position is part-time with most tour guides averaging 2-3 nights per week. Compensation for this tour ranges from $30-$115 per tour plus tips.


Requirements:

Tour guides must have public speaking and/or acting experience.

Tour guides must have a flexible schedule and be available most evenings and weekends through mid November 2021 (Especially October).

College Degree preferred, but not required.
