We know that the heartbeat of any community is people. Both urban and suburban areas have become melting pots of cultures, languages, and traditions. Tampa, Florida, is no exception to this trend, and it proudly embraces its diversity.

The Tampa area has so many neighborhoods filled with diverse cultures. The city and its suburbs are home to people from various racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. The Ford 5th Taste of Latino and Hispanic Heritage Festival is an annual event that shines a spotlight on the richness of Latino and Hispanic cultures. Today we experienced the taste of so many flavors, different music, and dances that represent the beauty and diversity of the Latino and Hispanic communities.

In a world where differences are sometimes emphasized, events like this remind us that, at our core, we share more similarities than differences. Together we can focus on our shared values and experiences, we can build bridges between cultures, and strengthen the bonds that connect us all.

Resilience: Life Must Go On
Let's take a moment to define resilience. In essence, first, it's the capability of a body to recover. Second, it represents their ability to bounce back and adapt easily in the face of misfortune or change.
In a world where the odds often appear to be stacked up against us resilience becomes a light of hope and empowerment. My debut book, "Creating Your Lane: Unleashing Self-Confidence," was written with the goal to ignite the self-assurance within readers. This, in turn, would empower them to confront life's challenges head-on and pursue success and greatness with determination.
However, as we all know, the road to success is rarely a smooth one. For many of us, it's a journey with unexpected obstacles that threaten to divert us from our goal.

Procrastination and Hesitation
For the last six months I have been caught up in my own head. There are times when I struggle like many others with procrastination and hesitation. These two culprits can often keep us from seizing opportunities, even when they're right within our reach.
Recently, I found myself facing the decision – whether or not to release my media kit. For months, I had been sitting on my media kit, waiting for that magical number to appear on my social media metrics dashboard. I had been hesitating for a while because, in my mind, I hadn't yet reached the elusive milestone of 100,000 social media views. In my head, I felt that I needed that impressive number to validate my worth in the social media and corporate partnership world to attract attention to my work. It's incredible how we can let self-doubt and comparison to others cloud our judgment.
