Woke up thinking about this trip we went on last Spring Break. I’m not much of a skier but I do love being in the mountains. Lillie and I took a day to ourselves and went snowmobiling and sledding. It was one of the biggest highlights of that trip!

Some of my favorite adult only all inclusive resorts are in Cancun. Cancun is a quick 2.5 hour flight from DFW, which makes adult only getaways easy. But there are SO many resorts to choose from. Secrets Akumal has both natural beauty and adventure since you can snorkel from the beach and also see beautiful cenotes, which are natural sinkholes made of limestone.
This is why I love planning vacations for my clients and traveling with my own kids. Is going on vacation stressful? Sometimes. Do my kids sometimes get upset while on vacation? Yes. Is it a lot to pack when you have young kids? Yes. But all the pros of traveling far outweighs all the cons. As a family, we get to experience new things together. Here is a little video of my son’s first trip to Disney World. It was such a magical time getting to see him at 2 years old getting to experience everything Disney World has to offer. While he didn’t get to do everything since he didn’t meet the height requirement on a couple of the rides, he had the BEST time. He loved the characters, attractions (his favorite ride was the Winnie the Pooh ride), parades, and fireworks. Seeing all the magic come alive through the eyes of your child is only one of the reasons why I love Disney World.

Atelier Playa Mujeres is one of my favorite adult only resorts to recommend to my clients. It’s in Playa Mujeres which is in the North part of Cancun and has clearer beaches since Isla Mujeres is so close. Atelier has the best food, drinks, service, accommodations, beach and pools. We stayed at the family friendly resort, Dreams Playa Mujeres, and we took a trip to Isla Mujeres. We had the BEST time!! The food, service, drinks, pool, and kids’ club areas at Dreams Playa Mujeres is what made this resort the perfect All Inclusive Resort for our family. I’ve recommended this resort to a few families and they loved it too!
We also loved our day trip to Isla Mujeres. The kids loved swimming in the clear water and Bob and I loved the food at one of its many restaurants.
