Our Story

ABOUT GARNERLAND IN LURAY. This was an idea that has worked out great for us and our many visitors over the last five years. The cabin was built using two log home kits from Daniel Boone Log Homes. They had a floor plan but Don wanted something special for our retirement home so we revamped it into a custom cabin with a Guesthouse that is awesome. We have had guest from all over the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Many are repeat customers who simply love the Shenandoah Valley and Garnerland in Luray. We keep trying to improve the cabin with creature comforts and luxury accommodations. Sometimes guests come and never leave until checkout. We love meeting folks and often they invite us to share in a meal and talk about various cultures, family and Luray.
