It’s long hard work for keeper in the creek. The rays showed up early and upset the apple cart. They obviously did not understand the assignment. This 19.25” fish exploded a and took off like a rocket. While it doesn’t compare to the double digit days of a couple of years ago it’s still a good time.

Striped Bass season opens on St. Leonard Creek on June 1st. We have plenty of fish and it’s a blast catching them on light tackle in a fishing kayak! We have open dates available with guided fishing adventures by on site.

Q. When is the best time to book a kayak fishing trip on St. Leonard Creek?

A. Without a doubt the first two weeks of June!

And as of right now, June 3-15 is open for kayak fishing trips AND our Airbnb reservations but don't wait - I anticipate these dates will fill out very soon. June 1 is opening day on St. Leonard Creek and the rockfish bite will be hot on the lumps, flats, and the mouth of the creek.
