It's a beautiful morning here in Lutsen and our team is gearing up to begin daily operations TOMORROW, Friday, December 9th. We will start our day tomorrow with Ullr and Eagle Mountains and will be adding Moose Mountain Friday into Saturday as the crew wraps up pushing. In addition to the great snow we have been able to make lately, mother nature also granted us 7" of natural snow this week!

You have a great spot and we enjoyed it immensely! Very clean with everything we needed and the main lodge amenities were also wonderful. We especially enjoyed the spacious outdoor pool as you don’t find too many of those anymore. Also, everything was so close – Superior National, alpine slide and gondola, traveling to Grand Marais – a perfect location to do many things!

Great spring conditions at Lutsen

We are in the final two weeks of our spring break vacations. Three inches of new snow arrived Saturday to freshen things up. Today brought blue skies and a lake breeze that kept temps in the mid 40’s for an ideal spring ski day. As we look forward, the forecast has a mix of freeze and thaw – sunny skies, deck dining, corn snow - classic spring conditions to bring us through our daily season finale on April 11. This calico fox has become a spring break mascot, frequently seen in the moguls on Hari Kari.
