Palmers Gulch KOA. We stayed for five nights. After group discussion, we decided that the concept is good but the ex*****on is poor. So many puddles and so much mud. Lots of the amenities cost extra money. The pool is shared with the lodge making it over crowded. The sites are small.

We had fun but likely won’t be back.

We spent a few days in Yellowstone. We had a blast exploring the park. We definitely need to come back but we packed some amazing experiences into the time we had!

Glacier is so pretty and has so many activities ranging from cheap to expensive.

Yesterday, we rented a boat and tried our hand at fishing on Lake McDonald. We didn’t catch anything 😭 but the kids got to put their toes in the cold, clear water.

For dinner, the guys whipped up some hibachi on the Blackstone.

Abbie and I went kayaking this morning. We decided we prefer to kayak in shallow waters 😬

Glacier National park did not disappoint

After three days of travel, today was a much needed day of rest.

Jerry was excited that lunch didn’t consist of sandwiches rapidly crafted on the road.

We visited Corum, Kalispell, and Whitefish. The kids got a chance to take a swim.

The temperature made it to a high of 81 today but it cools off nicely at night.

The days are long up here with sunrise around 5:30 am and sunset around 11pm

We haven’t been inside Glacier National Park yet but so far, the kids favor the Great Smoky Mountains ⛰️ over the Rocky’s 🏔️

Summer Vacation is officially underway! We have landed for the night. After 10.5 hours on the road with 5 miles of dirt road at the end, the campers are covered in dust inside and out! Time to rest for few!
