When headed out on vacation, always arrive at the airport early to help avoid any unnecessary issues. Be patient. Things can change once you’ve arrived. Oh, and ALWAYS wear comfortable shoes. You never know when you may need to switch into Forrest Gump mode. 🏃‍♀️

We spent a lovely night at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit for a quick hometown staycation! The hotel is stunning, and the staff are kind, efficient, and welcoming!

Our room was a Premium King room, which was gorgeous and so spacious! We enjoyed a pre-dinner cocktail at The Motor Bar, followed by a delicious dinner at Sullivan’s Steakhouse. We also enjoyed our breakfast at the Boulevard Room, which was so convenient!

There is also a Starbucks Reserve right in the hotel too - which we peeked in but it was busy and I didn’t want to snap a photo. Suffice it to say that it’s a very fancy Starbucks!
