Did you know that how you book your hotel can completely change your experience?
I didn’t either - until I became a travel advisor! It’s one of those things you really don’t think about, but it turns out that where and how you book your stay can make a huge difference.
Introduce The Hotel Hierarchy:
Tier 1: Book with a travel advisor who has connections (like me!)
Tier 2: Book directly through the hotels website or reservations team
Tier 3: Book using Amex or another credit card travel service
Tier 4: Book online through sites like Expedia or Booking.com
So, what does this mean for you?
When you book through a trusted travel advisor, you’re in for the royal treatment—think complimentary upgrades, spa credits, and those extra touches that make your stay unforgettable.
Booking directly with the hotel can also give you access to great service and sometimes even perks, but it’s not quite the same.
But here’s the catch: if you go through a third-party site like Expedia, you might miss out on those special extras and even risk not getting a refund or room if things go wrong.
