Citizen of the Year

Cast your vote for nominees to be entered into the Top 10 for each category by Thursday, September 12th at 5:00 PM.

Voting for all categories begins Monday, September 16th.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as MCCB went through an upgrade to our core processing system over the weekend. Late Saturday night we experienced an unexpected issue with our debit card system. This issue was resolved as of 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon. As of Monday at open of business all Debit Card, Telephone Banking, and Online Banking functions have been restored with normal functions.

Please report any hurricane damage as soon as possible. Information below.

While Madison County is not currently included in the FEMA Individual Assistance program designation for Hurricane Debby, we continue to work with state and federal partners to collect damage assessments in an effort to be added and ensure FEMA assistance becomes available to residents. Due to ongoing floodwaters preventing access by officials to conduct additional damage assessments, we encourage residents experiencing storm damage or flooding to their property to report it immediately.

If your home has structural or flooding damage, it is critical that you report it to the Property Appraiser's Office at www.madisonpa.com or call the Emergency Operations Center at 850-973-3698. If you have already reported your home's damage, there is no need to re-report it.

Madison County is experiencing significant inland flooding in the southeastern portion of our county. This area received over 12 inches of rain within 18 hours. Homes and structures in the area are now at risk. If you reside in the Old St Augustine Rd. / S SR 53 or S CR255 area please take precautions, as flooding in this area is expected as the water makes its way to the river.

If you are in a low lying area, you will be especially susceptible and should take flood mitigation measures. Please be advised that our current flooding situation is not a result of river flooding, however, the river areas are being monitored.

Sheriff’s Office and National Guard personnel are working these areas, so please limit vehicular activity to necessary travel only. If you encounter water across the road while traveling, please come to a stop. Remember, looks can be deceiving so turn around, don’t drown!

If you have flooding concerns for your area or property, please reach out to the Emergency Operations Center at 850-973-3698. Reports can also be made online through www.madisonpa.com. Please photograph any damage to your property only if it is safe to do so. As flooding affects your home, please make sure you are recording high water marks.
