Here is some history of Cataloochee Ranch in Maggie Valley!
We have been taking our children and grandchildren here for years! We recently toured the property before they officially opened and the renovations are amazing! We can not wait to visit again!

Since 2012 the Blue Rooster Southern Grill has been very determined to not only give back to our community, but moreover, some very deserving and in-need children.

The CHILDREN OF THE MOUNTAINS non-profit organization was created by Steve and Mary in an effort to help our local children's home each year at Christmas.

On any given year, there are approximately 60 children who reside there and will not be with their families to celebrate the most beautiful and meaningful holiday of the year.

Through the help of our community, Steve, Mary, and the Blue Rooster team will raise money to buy, wrap, and deliver wonderful gifts to each and every child living there.

The Blue Rooster will also put on a delicious Christmas dinner for all the children. Santa will also make an appearance!

On this trip to our cabin...we were able to relax a lot and watch this amazing sunrise, but we still got so much accomplished! We built a new fence around the firepit area, planted flowers, and had some tree trimming done to be able to see Lake Junaluska again! We already can't wait to come back!

Some of our tulips and daffodils bloomed! 🙌🏻 (only the yellow ones for some reason-if anyone knows why, I would love to know)! We also finally got our kitchen backsplash and we love it! And look at this cutest review from one of our guests! I cry every time I have to leave too sweet girl!! lol 🌼🌷
