These striking features don a captivating pinkish hue, courtesy of gaseous hydrogen achieving the perfect density and temperature to fluoresce. And hold onto your seats because this prominence measures a whopping 3 times the diameter of our Earth!

The ESF food booth (you may know them as ESDA) will be at Crossville on Sunday serving grilled tenderloin, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, corn dogs, french fries, my favorite - cheese fries and bacon cheese fries. Also Coke products and sweet tea. Come out and support our food vendors.

If you can't find reasonable accommodations for the eclipse, you can camp in Crossville for only $50 on Sunday, April 7th. Tents and campers are welcome. There are no electric, water or sewer hookups, but port-a-jons will be available. Send us a message for more details.

We are so excited to have our hometown chef and author, Kandace Davis back in Crossville for our Eclipse event on April 7th. Kandace will be set up with her food tent "Totality Tacos" in front of Crossville Communications. Totality Tacos will be serving a Double cheeseburger taco with a large tortilla, seasoned ground beef, smoked cheddar, chipotle cream sauce and lettuce.
Kandace attended the Culinary Institute of America and is the former owner / operator of Cha Cha Chow in St. Louis. Last year, Kandace released her non-fiction novel about her family titled "Out of the Night That Covers Me." Her book can be found on Amazon.
