Okay, so the TV isn’t the main reason you booked your Disney vacation, but it’s got some pretty cool features you’ll appreciate. For starters, that “Welcome Home” screen when you first step foot into your room is the perfect way to get into vacation mode. Did you know in addition to featuring the current weather and park hours, it comes with a lot of free Disney programming? From classic animated movies, Disney+ series and even Happily Ever After fireworks, there’s always something fun to watch for a quick break or a family movie night before bed. Plus, at select resorts, you can even stream your own shows on smart TVs so you won’t have to avoid social media for fear of spoiling your latest show obsession.

If vacation means indulging in sinfully delish fast food, have you ever thought about a Disney Cruise? Absolutely, Disney Cruise Line is all about value, relaxation and fun, but it’s also about the FOOOOOD and most of it is included in the cruise fare. Feel like some pizza at 11, no problem. Got a hankering for a burger to hold you over until dinner, it’s yours. Don’t feel like sitting in a dining room, grab a quick bite and eat on the deck. It’s not just burgers and fries either! Each ship has its own unique offerings (BBQ, salads, wraps) but the variety is there across the fleet. Splurge until your heart’s and belly’s content without a surprise credit card bill when you get home.

Even though we all LOVE Disney parks here, we can’t help but feel a little loyal to one coast’s parks over the other. If money and time away were not a factor at all, which coast would you choose to spend a Disney filled Christmas? Would it be OG charm and attraction overlays at Disneyland? Or would it be Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Candlelight Processional and gingerbread houses at Walt Disney World?

Heroes Work Here! This Veterans Day, let’s take a moment to honor the incredible contributions of our US military service members—and shine a light on Disney’s Heroes Work Here program.
Since 2012, Disney has hired thousands of veterans, offering jobs, support and the resources needed to help them successfully transition into civilian careers. Keep your eye out for markers like this one in EPCOT. As a true patriot, no doubt Walt Disney would be proud of the way his company is thanking our veterans for their service!
