It is the perfect coffee drink that strikes the perfect balance of nutty without being overly processed tasting or overly sweet. Gideon’s keeps a pretty tight lid on their secret recipe for this wildly popular brew. Some have said maple syrup, while some have credited a special kind of peanut...we like to think it is just pure magic. Sure, there was a point in time when you could conquer all of Universal Orlando Resort in a day. Maybe you remember that time from when you visited back in college. Things may have changed in a MAGICAL way since your last visit, and things will change again in a few months in a very EPIC way. You will never feel fully immersed in all the awesome parts of Universal if you are rushing through in a single day. Easily, a resort that is among the most popular at Walt Disney World is Disney’s Pop Century Resort. It was always a timeless favorite for families, but when the Disney Skyliner hit the property, it was a game changer. Pop definitely....popped. Although this is a value resort, the overall vibe is calmer and as perfect for adult trips as it is for

One of the sweetest things about both Disneyland and Walt Disney World is how there are so many opportunities for you to stop and smell the roses. n the age of selfies (and if you have teenagers, you know the 0.5 fad all too well) vacation picture taking has certainly changed a bit over the years. Rarely do we ask fellow cruisers to pause and take a family photo, and if the arm is long enough Mom can be seen in the selfie photo overlooking the ocean. How important is it to you for your family to have at least some professional grade photos from your adventure? Is there anything better than those first few hours at Disneyland? The way the sun hits just right, casting that perfect almost angelic glow on Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A., as the park starts to wake up? Pure magic. You’ve got the sweet smell of churros and popcorn already wafting through the air (because obviously, snacks are life), and that upbeat Disney soundtrack mixing with the buzz of guests in matching shirts planning their day? Chef’s kiss. Early entry is where it’s at, folks. Short lines, fewer people, better photo ops and the absolute joy of breezing through the park like a VIP. If there’s ever a time you feel like this really is the happiest place on earth, it’s first thing in the morning!

As Rafiki says: “The past can hurt.” This is especially true if the past involves bad shoe choices in Disney parks. Do not choose style over comfort, you will regret it. A typical guest at Walt Disney World clocks about 18,000+ steps a day. Not to mention it often rains, can be blistering hot and on top of walking, there’s also a lot of standing involved. Your feet really work overtime!

Disneyland has Sleeping Beauty Castle and it is stunning, but fans of the story know that Aurora is possibly not the REAL star of the tale...Maleficent fans, where are you? Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Paris has the real belle of the ball, as THE dragon resides down below in the lair. You can’t have Sleeping Beauty without all the mystery, wonder and magic that is Maleficent as the fearsome dragon. Has this castle suddenly risen to the top of anyone else’s bucket list?🏰

Pro Tip: If you like to christen your cruise vacation with a glass of bubbly or if you’d like to have a glass of wine on your balcony to unwind at the end of a busy day full of trivia and riding the AquaMouse, you CAN bring alcohol onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship. Guests over 21 can bring a maximum of 2 unopened wine or champagne bottles or 6 beers. These beverages must be packed in your carry-on bags. So although DCL doesn’t offer drink packages, bringing some of your own favorites can help save you some cash onboard.
