Hooray! Our red-legged frogs have grown LEGS! This is truly an amazing milestone for us!

If you would like to assist in making sure their survival rates measure up, I would encourage you all to avoid crossing streams and spreading our invasive New Zealand Mud snails. (They are found in most areas, unfortunately).

These small mud snails are easily carried off to other streams and spread quickly. The best way to help and reduce spreading, is to avoid treading in water, or you may FREEZE your shoes in the freezer before entering another watered area. - Ranger Razsa

Thanks to all who attended Dr.Serieys's talk last night in Griffith Park! We hope that you all enjoyed the event, and the attendance and show of support was heart-warming. It's great to know how many in Los Angeles are interested in our urban carnivores. And it may have been Dr.Serieys's last talk in Los Angeles as she is moving to South Africa on August 30 to pursue a new urban carnivore study!
