I've seen some posts about villages. This one is mine. I started it in January of 1983, and I've been adding to it every since. All but a couple of the buildings are ceramic, and we have the molds. There's also quite a few more buildings that aren't pictured here because I haven't had time to paint them yet. A lot of the people, the non-lit lamp posts, and most of the "transportation" pieces are ceramic, too. And yes, I have the molds. We also sell people, accessories, fences and light up lamp posts in our gift shop. We can paint to order (not for this year, though) or you can paint them yourself at home. We have some in the gift shop that are ready to go home and add to your village. Questions? Stop in and see us. We're open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 11AM to 5:30 PM, and December 10th and 17th 10 till 2. Located at 28 Raymond Street in Malone. See you soon!

Wow. What an incredible day. It was quiet for the first little bit, but then all shopping broke loose. Thank you to everyone who stopped by today. I also got another vendor today. Pictures will follow in a couple of days. Wait till you see what this woman does! That being said, I am no longer able to take any more vendors. The gift shop is FULL! 🥰 I may need to borrow a little more space from Norm's music store. We have a couple more surprises in store for this holiday season and tons of plans and ideas for next year. I'll keep you all posted!

Stop in to Happy Holidays gift shop today. All of our Jim Shore is 20 percent off AND we have selected kids gifts that are 20 percent off, too! We're open 10 till 2. Good morning! The last time our schools closed, we had to close, too. We're hoping that doesn't happen again, but....So come and shop while you can! We will keep you posted. No matter what else happens, our building is for sale. The ceramic shop closes this Thursday. You will still be able to come and buy pieces to paint at home, but we will no longer be open for people to stay and paint. And with Covid rearing its ugly head again, that is probably for the best. We are hoping to keep the gift shop open until December 23rd, again, depending on what Covid does. Stay safe, everyone.

11/03/2020

We are closed tomorrow for Election Day! Make sure you get out and vote. We are closing our shops. The ceramic shop will close November 12th. If you have unfinished projects, please come and finish them up. If you have completed pieces, come and get those, too. The gift shop will stay open until December 23rd. The music store will be open until December 23rd as well. We have a spot at Ren and Jerry's on Elm Street so you can find our gift ideas there, too. Our building is for sale. Most of our molds are for sale. It's time to retire for real this time. We missed out on a lot of things with our kids and grandkids this past summer and it wasn't even because of Covid. When Alexa tells you at 7:30 in the morning that you have a call and it's from your 6 year old grandson who told his dad that he had to call you so he could see you because he missed you, it's time. When you ask your kids why they didn't ask for your help and they tell you it's because they feel that you are too busy, it's time. When all you have time to do is work, eat and try to sleep, it's time. When the stress gets so bad that you can't eat or sleep (or you stress eat 24/7) it's time. Like I said the gift shop will be open until December 23rd so come and do some Christmas shopping. The music store is open until December 23rd and there's always some neat Christmas gifts in there for your band students. Thanks to all who have been our customers and our friends these past 11 years. We reopen on Wednesday at noon. See you then!

Whew! Made it through the week. Of course our week was only 2 days because of Tuesday being a snow day. LOL Anyhow, it was an awesome week. We have some wonderful, amazing, thoughtful customers. Last night the shop was packed but everyone seemed to have a good time. I had wonderful chats with everyone, saw some projects get finished and some new ones started. Crazy busy but so much fun. Thank you all so much for trusting us to give you something fun to do. There is a lot of talent around here. Thank you isn't nearly enough to show our appreciation. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Next week is short too, because of Thanksgiving. Our hours for next week are Tuesday noon till 9 and Wednesday noon till 5. We will be open for Small Business Saturday but not for painting. We might have a sale or two going though, so stop in and visit. See you soon.

Thank you to all who stopped by and talked to me at harvest fest this past Saturday. Please feel free to bring your issues to me. Nothing can get fixed if nobody knows it's broken. Not to sound like a broken record but my main focus will always be our village. I truly believe that progress is being made towards our revitalization and I will do everything I can to help our village become the wonderful place it can be. What can you do to help? Get out and vote in November. Thank you all for your confidence and your support.

With all the craziness of this month, I almost forgot to share our newsletter. Happy September!
Happy September First off, I would like to let you know that I have some new, good help in the shop. Maddy Davis used to own a ceramic shop and misses it a lot. I needed some help, she wanted to get back to ceramics so it was a no brainer. It has been absolutely wonderful for both of us It is September and school has started. The fall holidays and Christmas are coming quick. We have some new molds for Halloween this year. They are really cute We also have some new Christmas molds, including some new trees and new village buildings. In our holiday shop we have added street lights that really light up and lots of other new accessories from Lemax. Check them out Remember if you need craft supplies for some homemade gifts, we have a craft supply shop, too. We have also added essential oils to our inventory in the holiday shop as part of our gift ideas. So you see, we can help with lots of holiday and gift ideas For the ceramic shop, here is our planned schedule for the rest of the year. We are doing a paint and sip on Monday, October 7th. It is 55 dollars for a 13 inch tree and 75 dollars for the 17 inch tree. We have 4 spots left. If you’d like to come, you must reserve your spot. We are asking for half of the fee to hold your spot. Halloween is a Thursday this year so we will be closing at 4 instead of 5 that day. We get hundreds of kids at our house and so we need to be there. In November, we will close at 5PM the night before Thanksgiving. People are too busy getting ready for the next day to come and paint. We will be open for Small Business Saturday, which is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We will NOT be open to paint that day. In December, we will be closing on Thursday, December 19th at 5 PM for the holidays. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 21st, at noon. If Malone Central Schools are closed for a snow day, then so are we. As of today there are 23 more days in the ceramic shop before Halloween, 35 before Thanksgiving, and 44 before Christmas. That is counting on no bad weather or anything else to mess things up. I think that’s all the news that’s fit to print right now. See you soon
