CAPTAIN SPOTLIGHT: Captain Andrew Colleran

Capt. Andrew is a 2006 Graduate of the State University of New York, Maritime College and holds his USCG 1600 Ton Masters License and Chief Mate Unlimited Tonnage. From 2006-2011, he sailed on various vessels around the globe while deployed with the US Navy’s, “Military Sealift Fleet Support Command”. Capt Andrew went on to earn his Master’s degree in International Transportation Management from SUNY Maritime while also teaching various Maritime related courses at the College. From 2016-2020 he operated and managed private yachts for various companies and private owners. He currently works as a Shore-side Tanker Operator in Southport, CT.
