Angie and JD are the proud new owners of Hovey’s Bear Trap and have a bright outlook for the future vision of Hovey’s cabins. Their house is just down the road so they will be available when needed; just a text or phone call away. They can’t wait to be your host and help you experience all of the charm that Hovey’s has to offer.

Hovey’s Bear Trap’s consists of 11 authentic log cabins built in the 1920’s. All the cabins have been remodeled through the years retaining their old northwoods charm mixing in new furniture and amenities while retaining the cabins unique northwoods feel.

Hovey’s convenient location offers quick access to everything the area has to offer. In the winter enjoy snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing. In the summer, hiking, ATVing, golfing, swimming, beaching, fishing and kayaking/canoeing make for great entertainment.

Our large parking lot has enough room to park your snowmobile, ATV and boat trailers. The boat launch is just down the street and our on-site dock is available for you to park your boat. Snowmobile trail access is less than one mile from Hovey’s.
