At least once a year I participate in what I call Disney adulting. This past trip I had agent roommates and our kids were not allowed to join us. Sorry kids! So much fun to be had. You don’t need kids to live it up in the parks and at the resort! However, you likely aren’t driving on your vacation so you can also partake a bit with the kiddos in tow. Happy to report mocktails are common🙌🏼 The last night of our trip we did a monorail hop and I took lots of photos with, and of a pineapple, since a Lapu Lapu was on my bucket list✔️🍍😆💫

When staying at Walt Disney World there are lots of transportation options. These choices can be factored in when we pick a resort and ticket package that best matches your needs. There are boats that take you from select Disney resorts to Hollywood Studios and others that take you to Magic Kingdom. There is the monorail that takes you to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. There is a Skyliner that takes you over to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. A few select resorts are walkable to Epcot or Magic Kingdom. All resorts have buses that will bring you to the parks and back. A few have a boat to Disney Springs. Sometimes I like to do a split stay which gets me convenience to three theme parks (you will always bus to Animal Kingdom). I have clients that love this split stay option to be front and center to the action.

You can also select a Minnie Van through Lyft which guarantees car seats and let’s face it, is super cute! Let’s chat about what transportation interests you🚡🚆🚍🛳️💫

Epcot during the springtime is as magical as ever with their annual Flower and Garden festival. See your Disney favorites as you walk around the park. My fav is in Italy, Lady and the Tramp! 🌸💫

Pro travel tip- if you travel by plane more than once a year it’s worth signing up for TSA Precheck. You make an appt locally, which lasts 5 minutes in-person, and get 5 years of stress-free airport experiences. Plus, when minors travel with you they go through the express lane free of charge. Shoes stay on and you cut the long security line.

I was in and out of the security line in 7 minutes! Happy to pull up the registration for any of my interested clients. Skip that line!!

We had one park “research” day at our last conference and we focused the start of the day on the Magic Kingdom. Waiting on our virtual queue boarding group for Tron kept us from park hopping until midafternoon, so we got a good amount accomplished with Genie+ before heading to Hollywood Studios. Here is what we accomplished-

On my resort tour I was able to stop at one of my favorite family resorts in the Magic Kingdom area, Wilderness Lodge. This resort features a large pool and waterslide, water taxi to Magic Kingdom, character dinner with Snow White, Grumpy, and the Evil Queen, and has a fun outdoorsy vibe. Rooms have been recently updated. You can choose to stay on the villas side for more space at Copper Creek or Boulder Ridge, or even upgrade to club level and enjoy the Old Faithful lounge food and beverages included in that package price. Can’t wait to return here this August! 🐻💫

Opening in DECEMBER 2024, the new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will take guests on a storytelling journey that brings to life the spirit of Polynesia.

Ate a magical meal at 1900 Park Fare! This character meal was closed for years and just reopened at Grand Floridian. It features Aladdin, Cindy, Mirabel, and Tiana. It’s open for both breakfast and dinner and has a tasty buffet. Characters come to your table to chat, take photos, and sign autographs. Most meals are a preset price but they do accept the dining plan.

Let’s talk club level🙌🏼 I just got back from experiencing the Chronos lounge over at Gran Destino Tower for the first time. Here is what to expect when you stay club-

☕️Fancy coffee machines starting at 6:30am
🧇Breakfast from 7-10am
🍪Snacks and soft drinks from 11-4pm
🍤Hot/Cold dishes and beer/wine from 5-7pm
🍷Desserts and Cordials from 8-10pm
🎲An exclusive room to chill, play games, take in views, eat, and drink
🙋🏽‍♀️Access to amazing staff like Seth and Piper who provide amazing service
🍴Food alternatives for the daily offerings for allergies or food restrictions

We felt very pampered this last trip. We were told at our welcoming we could get mimosas basically whenever we wanted morning til night, “just ask.” Um, yeah!! 🥂They were great, especially after a long day in the parks.

Club level can be selected for any Deluxe resort (not Villas), as well as over at Coronado Springs which is where we were. It’s the only Moderate with club. This is not an add-on, rather it’s a room type, so the cost is built in to the package price pending availability.

As part of our top producer appreciation we were treated to a private viewing area of the Luminous fireworks at Epcot and a tasty dessert party. So magical! 🎇💫

At my conference I got the chance to tour the recently refurbished rooms at the Beach Club and I’m loving them! Especially the Donald and nephew painting and hardwood floors! So adorable! Can’t wait to return. We even got a tour of their club level lounge. These are upgrades you can make at booking to your packages at most Deluxe resorts and the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs. Having club level makes your trip even more special with included specialty coffees, breakfast, unlimited wine and mimosas (in my experience), snacks, soft drinks, hot and cold appetizers, beer, cordials, and desserts. Plus you receive the assistance of phenomenal concierge staff.

Beach Resort is the perfect place to stay for easy access to Epcot since you have your own private entrance only 5 minutes away!! Also it’s just a short boat ride to Hollywood Studios, and buses to the other two parks are provided. They feature an amazing pool complex with lazy river and sand bottom pool, shipwreck waterslide, and ice cream stand. Character dining can be booked for breakfast and you enjoy a close proximity to the other Boardwalk area resorts and eateries such as Yacht Club.
