It’s so tempting to get on Google, and find a vacation package that has a markdown. or supposed discount and book it:
But here’s the thing:
That $50 or $100 you’re saving from booking online could be saving now could actually cost you in the long run.
Almost all online travel websites come with cancellation stipulations, especially when it comes to flights.
If, down the road, you need to cancel a flight or move your trip, that $50 or $100 you may have saved in the beginning could come back tenfold with cancellation fees.
Make sure you know all of the stipulations before you book, and if you want extra protection, book with a trusted travel agent who works with your budget and offer expert guidance.
