Although, I love all our major cruise lines that we partner with, it’s no secret that cancellation and change fees can be ROUGH! Life happens sometimes which causes our travel plans to change. The last thing anyone wants is to be penalized for that!

The situation that occurred today is a prime of example of all the things you don’t see when you book a trip through a travel agent. I had a client who needed to change her cruise sailing due to unforeseen circumstances. The cruise line they choose has a $100 a person change fee. My clients would have had to pay an extra $300 after they had already paid off their cruise. As their travel agent, I made no hesitation to call and try to get this fee waived. With some good luck and charm, I was able to get the $300 change fee waived!!! I know this will not always be the case, but a win is a win! I will always advocate for my clients the best I can!
